PROPERTIES
- Brunox® Epoxy – rust removal and corrosion prevention system. Application and action as: – rust remover – epoxy primer for industrial protection of structures, installations, machinery, vehicles, etc. Brunox® Epoxy is a patented epoxy resin-based rust removal system. The transparent amber-colored liquid forms an organic iron compound with the neutralized corrosion layer. The resulting black, very dense and resistant layer provides long-lasting corrosion protection and, thanks to its epoxy resin content, is also an excellent primer. This preparation is excellent for the renovation of machinery, installations, vehicles. Due to particularly good penetration into the pores formed by corrosion and excellent formation of a protective layer (no traces of brush strokes), excellent efficiency and the possibility of applying various coatings (paints, varnishes, putties – also chemically-curable) is ensured.
- Brunox Epoxy Agents free of heavy metals (lead, zinc, chromates). No aggressive mineral acids.
EFFECT
- Rust is neutralized: in contact with metal and rust, BRUNOX® Epoxy forms organic iron compounds. A black, compact and durable protective layer is formed, which provides long-lasting protection against corrosion and which, thanks to its enrichment with epoxy resin, is also a primer for further painting operations.
Scope of application
- Anywhere iron and steel rust is formed – indoors and outdoors. Not suitable for underwater use.
